Dr. Sasikaan Nimmaanrat, MD, MMed (Pain Mgt) is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management as well as an Assistant Dean of Quality Improvement at the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. Dr. Nimmaanrat is specialized in management of acute postoperative pain, acute posttraumatic pain, cancer pain and chronic non-cancer pain. Dr. Nimmaanrat’s researches cover these various areas of pain management. Moreover, Dr. Nimmaanrat is interested in health care quality improvement and assurance and takes an active role in this field to improve quality of pain management in Thailand.
