Dr Angela Yeo is a paediatric anesthesiologist by training, which subsequently discovered her calling in paediatric pain while on fellowship training in Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne in 2014. She is now the Clinical Director of the Children's Pain Service in her hospital, runs the only interdisciplinary chronic pain clinic for children in the ASEAN region and is passionate about improving and advocating for paediatric pain management globally. She is on the council of the Pain in Childhood Special Interest Group (SIG) of the International Association for the Study of Pain, and is the incumbent President of the Asian Society of Paediatric Anaesthetists (ASPA) Paediatric Pain Special Interest Group (PPSIG). She is also the Vice-President of the Pain Association of Singapore. Her clinical interests are in all aspects of paediatric pain - perioperative, acute, chronic, procedural, onco-palliative and in pain education and she believes strongly in nurturing the next generation of pain movers and shakers throughout Asia. In her free time, she enjoys movies nights with her family, classical singing, and finding the perfect mango sticky rice!
